Partners in Sport:
Montrose Football Club
LPCT have forged a strong and fruitful partnership with Montrose Football Club. Not only are we able to utilise the fantastic facilities on offer at Links Park Stadium, we also use the club brand and appeal in an attempt to draw members of the public, both young and old, towards our sports, health and educational initiatives. In doing so, and in return, we hope to develop and foster an affinity towards our local professional football club amongst members of our community, whilst striving to support their attempts to increase upon the number of local youngsters progressing into their playing squad.
Montrose Roselea Junior Football Club
MRJFC are a progressive and professionally managed organisation with which LPCT look forward to working with as our relationship develops further. We hope that in time, through the implementation of our developmental and performance football strands that an increased number of local youngsters make the transition from juvenile to junior football - and that those who don't, instead choose to support MRJFC through attendance at games and fundraising events.
Montrose Youth Football Club
LPCT strive to develop youngsters technical 'skill-set' - such as their ability to run with, retain, receive and release the ball. Through our developing relationship with MYFC, we hope to be able to identify children that are of the age and stage to progress onto competitive football with our fantastic local youth football club, where such technical skills can be applied in games and complimented with the introduction of tactical considerations.
Scottish Football Association
LPCT work in conjunction with the SFA in the delivery of our MARS funded 'Just Play' recreational football programme for adults. We hope to develop our relationship with the governing body further through the creation and delivery of developmental and diversionary football projects.
Montrose Community Sports Hub
LPCT are one of the founder members of the Montrose Community Sports Hub. As a charity we are strong believers that all children should participate in a range of sports and activities, and we are delighted to promote and endorse the work being undertaken at our partner clubs/organisations: Athletics, Golf, Rugby, Tennis
